Damian Hall - Ultra Running Coach And Record-Breaking Ultramarathon Runner

Damian Hall is a record-breaking ultramarathon runner who represented Great Britain at the age of 40, four years after his first marathon, which he ran dressed as a toilet.

In his late 40s he still achieves competitive results in the world’s toughest races, including podiums at the Winter Spine Race (x3), the Dragon’s Back Race, the UK Ultra Trail Championships, Mozart 100 and Ultra Tour Monte Rosa. Damian finished 5th place at the world’s most prestigious ultramarathon, 105-mile UTMB Mont-Blanc. In 2023 he became one of only 19 people to ever start a fifth loop of the notorious Barkley Marathons. In the UK he has won Lakeland 100, Northern Traverse and The Fellsman and broken eight running records/Fastest Known Times (FKTs), including Wainwright’s Coast to Coast, South West Coast Path and the Pennine Way. The tea addict has completed the UK’s big three fellrunning rounds (sometimes solo, in winter, in record time), has been nominated for the Fell Runners Association Long Distance Award four times and has a marathon PB of 2:38 (Manchester, 2018).

Damian offers 1:1 remote coaching, primarily to those interested in distance running. His athletes have had success at Winter and Summer Spine Races, UTMB, Ultra-Trail Snowdonia, the Dragon’s Back Race, Tor des GĂ©ants, Marathon des Sables, fell-running rounds and numerous other races and challenges, as well as simply enjoying the feeling of improvement from consistent, injury-free running.

He believes in consistency, communication and enjoyment, via a holistic approach. As well as 1:1 coaching, he offers online consultations and bespoke, three or six-month training plans.

BAME runners are offered a 20% discount.
