Discover the rolling hills and historic beauty of Lincolnshire with the Yellow Belly 50 Ultra. This 50 mile circular ultra marathon offers a spectacular journey through the undulating Lincolnshire Wolds, creating a memorable challenge for new and experienced ultra runners alike.
Prepare for a captivating tour of the English countryside. The route starts and finishes in the quiet village of Swallow, guiding you on a 50 mile loop that incorporates scenic sections of the famous Viking Way. You'll pass through charming, historic villages and be treated to panoramic views across the Wolds. With approximately 1,300m of ascent, the course is constantly varied, providing a series of rewarding climbs and enjoyable descents to keep you on your toes.
This ultra is perfectly balanced for a wide range of athletes. A generous 18-hour cut-off and four fully-stocked aid stations create a supportive and welcoming environment for those tackling their first 50 mile race. For the more seasoned ultra runner, the undulating course presents an excellent opportunity to test their strength and push for a fast time. All who conquer the course will be rewarded with a bespoke finisher's medal, with prizes awarded to the top three male and female runners.
