Do you have what it takes to face the Yellow Belly 50 mile ultra in the heart of winter? This is not just a race; it's a formidable test of resilience. Yellow Belly Ultra has taken their stunning 50 mile route through the Lincolnshire Wolds and added the ultimate challenge: the harsh beauty of a British winter!
The course remains a captivating 50 mile circular journey, but the experience is completely transformed by the season. Starting and finishing in Swallow, you will navigate the undulating course and its ~1,300m (4,500 feet) of elevation against a backdrop of frosty landscapes. Limited daylight means your headtorch will be an essential companion for a significant portion of the race. This edition demands not only endurance but also meticulous preparation and a deep respect for the elements.
Finishing a 50 mile ultramarathon is a huge achievement, finishing one in the depths of winter is a true badge of honour! This race is for those who want to push their boundaries and prove their grit. Supported by four well-stocked aid stations, you'll share an incredible sense of camaraderie with fellow runners as you battle the course and the cold together. Earning this finisher's medal is an accomplishment you will never forget.
The Yellow Belly 50 mile winter ultra is limited to 150 places so make sure you secure your place on the starting line. For more details and registration, please visit the official race website.
