Suffolk Back Yard Ultra - Last Man Standing Race
Are you ready to push your limits in the heart of Thetford Forest? The Suffolk Back Yard Ultra is a true test of endurance, strategy and sheer grit. This isn't your average ultramarathon; it's a battle of wills where the race has no finish line until only one runner is left.
The Course
Set in the stunning High Lodge of Thetford Forest, the course is a flat and fast 4.167 mile loop on firm ground. The wide, well-maintained forest trails offer a beautiful and runnable surface, perfect for settling into a rhythm and clocking up the miles.
The Suffolk Back Yard Ultra provides a fantastic community atmosphere, and to help with that, free camping is available for all runners and their support crews. Tents should be kept to a reasonable size and due to fire regulations, no cooking is allowed in the camping areas.
A well-stocked aid station at the start/finish line will have water and basic snacks to keep you going. There will also be onsite food vendors and cafes. For your convenience, we'll have portaloos, urinals and a charging station with limited public Wi-Fi.
