Conquer the 2026 M2L Ultra: A 50 Mile Ultra Marathon from Manchester to Liverpool

This well supported event on Friday April 3rd 2026 traces the picturesque Trans-Pennine Trail, the historic Manchester Ship Canal and the meandering River Mersey.
The Course
Your family and friends can follow every stride you take with live online GPS tracking from GB Race Tracker, keeping them connected to your progress throughout the day. The race kicks off at the striking Imperial War Museum (IWM) North, perfectly situated on the Manchester Ship Canal waterfront, placing you right at the heart of Manchester's vibrant energy.
This fast and well-marked 50-mile course comes with a generous 14-hour cut-off, making it an ideal challenge for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned ultra-runner aiming for a personal best or a newcomer eager to dip your toes into the world of ultra-running, the M2L Ultra offers an excellent opportunity. Race Day Essentials
The adventure begins at 6:00 AM at the Imperial War Museum (IWM) North, Trafford Wharf Rd, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1TZ. Before you hit the trails, bib number and GB Race Tracker collection will be available between 4:15 AM and 5:30 AM on race morning.
