Longbridge 100 Backyard Ultra - Summer Edition
The Longbridge 100 Backyard Ultra is a non-stop, multi-lap endurance race held in Litlington, Seaford, England. Following the distinctive Backyard Ultra format, runners must complete a 4.167-mile (approximately 6.7 km) loop every hour, on the hour. The event continues until only one participant completes a solo lap, with all others having dropped out.
Course
The route features a mix of compacted earth, gravel trails, and grassy sections, with each lap including a substantial elevation gain of nearly 200m. Starting at 6pm, the race demands not just endurance, but also resilience, as runners face continuous physical and mental strain throughout the night.
