Maverick South Downs 50K Ultra Marathon

Course
This is a route that perfectly captures the essence of South Downs running. The 51km course features a significant but manageable 1,294m (4,245ft) of elevation gain, delivered in a series of short, sharp climbs and long, flowing descents.
After leaving the "wooden wonderland" of the country park, the route soon joins the infamous South Downs Way. Here you'll enjoy a long stretch on undulating, chalky trails that offer panoramic views across the Hampshire and Sussex countryside. The course also takes you through the beautiful Harting Downs and West Dean Woods, providing a fantastic mix of exposed ridgelines and sheltered forest paths.
